Early Life and Background
Born and raised with roots in the Tiv culture of Nigeria, Bobbie Terungwa initially kept his musical talent hidden due to a lack of platforms and community discouragement. Behind the scenes, he cultivated his lyrical skills—which earned local acclaim for his flawless rap flows. In addition to his music career, he holds a background in Plant Science and Biotechnology.

Breakthrough and Musical Style
Bobbie’s breakthrough arrived on December 23, 2025, when he won the Benue State Talent Hunt Competition, which was organized by the state’s Commissioner for Youth, Sports, and Creativity, Tiza Isaac Imojime Orya. In early 2026, he was signed to or heavily affiliated with the CityBoy Movement in Benue, opening doors for broader collaborations and studio projects.

Notable Work and Advocacy
His music often tackles socio-cultural realities within his community. His hit track, “Angbian Wan U Kwase” (which translates to “My Sister”), is a powerful social commentary. It serves as a plea for young Tiv women to avoid roadside hustling and embrace self-worth, highlighting that there is dignity in other forms of labor.
